Funding Criteria:

GEOP funding may be available in the fall and spring semesters pending budget approval. Scholarship money is not available for the J-term or summer semesters.
Only students registered as matriculated graduate students may be funded and funding cannot exceed tuition for the total credit hours required for a specific major.
Undergraduate courses cannot be funded under the GEOP guidelines.
GEOP tuition scholarships are very limited and will likely not cover your full tuition charge. Fees and tuition balances are the responsibility of the student and must be paid when billed to avoid late payment fees.
If the withdrawal from a course(s) occurs after the designated drop-add period, the student becomes financially liable for tuition and fees of withdrawn course(s).

Funding Criteria:

We no longer require a minimum number of credits for which you will need to register however, if you are seeking additional financial aid, you will need to meet their specified requirement.
Up to fifteen (15) credit hours of in-state tuition for required graduate level coursework may be funded each fall and spring semester. The tuition amount will be adjusted for in-state tuition. It is the student's responsibility to pay any outstanding balance.
Fellows must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA each semester to be eligible to receive funding.

Up to nine (9) graduate credit hours of in-state tuition may be funded for full-time graduate assistants. Up to three (3) graduate credits hours of in-state tuition may be funded for part-time graduate assistants. Scholarships are available for the fall and spring semesters only.
Graduate assistants must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA each semester to be eligible to receive funding.
Only matriculated students may be funded and funding will not exceed tuition for the total credit hours required for a specific major.
Undergraduate courses cannot be funded under the graduate assistantship guidelines.

Verification of your enrollment will be sent to your graduate assistantship supervisor and respective administrator. Hiring managers must complete the necessary Human Resources paperwork prior to the start of each semester for you to remain an employee of the College.
